I missed the last 15 minutes of Idol.... and who was booted. You would really think a site like idol could get content up a bit quicker than 2 hours. po me off!
Lost - Awesome as usual. There is a new addition to the castaways on the island. Still have no idea who she is, but the excitement is on. Worst show ever because it makes you NEED to watch the next episode! |

Pussycat Dolls - I watched the Pussy Cat Doll search for the very first time ever, and it was the finale. Ok, so I watched the first one too, but only for the singing. A girl named Asia won and something I thought was interesting. The new Doll performed with the full Pussy Cat Squad for the very first time and was able to fit right into the dance/singing routine. It was really wierd.... almost like a Borg took her over and she assimilated at that very moment. Don't get me wrong, this is a much more attractive kind of Borg, but very odd none the less. Anybody else notice that these gals look like the Bratz dolls? hookerish.
American Idol - Jordin Sparx takes the cake this time. It was a night full of winners now that Sangina is gone. Of note, as usual, Melinda Doolittle rocked the house. I did not pay a whole lot of attention this evening, but they were all pretty good. I think my girl Lakisha might be on her way out.
Not often do I watch WE, but tonight the Secret Lives of Women is on (Boston Legal and SVU are reruns) and talking about swingers. hmmmm... nothing more to say. |

I missed a day on here. Spent all day at work, but I did have a chance to watch the season finale of The Apprentice. To me this is the original OG reality show.... straight up Donald. Unfortunately, this season has come to an unbuilt up and undramatic close. It was a little like ordering the x-ray glasses out the comic books as a kid, just not what you had hoped for. This season it seemed to go straight from tasks to the finale. Every other year, they built it up so that the fans were excited. Donald dissapoints me, but its ok.... he is the Donald. Id be his apprentice any day. I might even work free.... well almost free.... by Trump standards. So, for 250,000 a year I would be his apprentice.
Tonight I am catching up on the Flava of Love Charm School. I hadn't seen much of the first episode, so I figure I need some culture. |

Ohhhh... its fight night and the guy is coming out in me. I Opened a beer and let the testosterone come out. I am also doing some work at the same time, so it is that much more entertaining. Anyhoo, the fights:
Matt Grice vs Terry Etim - Exciting fight of guys I have never seen. Grice was a champion HS wrestler and immediately started pounding the tar out of Terry Etim. The hammer was being broughten.... but no.... Terry Etim somehow pulled a submission out of it, guillotine style.
Silva vs Cheick Kongo - Kongo... what a great name and what a great stand up game. He really landed some nice punches and the guy looks like a monster. I think Silva might have taken it if he spent more time at the beginning trying to bring the fight to the ground. I feel that Silva spent a bit too much time feeling him out at the beginning and Kongo landed one too many punches. Although Kongo beat Silva(who is an excellent fighter), I don't see him sticking around too long unless he learns a trick or two on the ground. He had a few nice sprawls, but once on the ground he seemed like a lost sheep. Kongo won it fair and square, but I think it could have gone in the other direction if Silva made a few different moves.
Michael Bisping vs Elvis Sinosic - Elvis "The King of Rock n Rumble" Sinosic went down like the king himself. Hometown favorite Bisping pretty much dominated the match. TKO in the second match. Elvis just about had a kamora due to a well placed knee, but Bisping quickly turned it into an Elvis ground and Pound session.
Andrei Arlovski vs Fabrico Werdum - Arlovski is one scary mutha. Fangs and all. Scary. He reminds me of some bad guy that should be in a Rocky movie. First round was fairly uneventful, but there was a few punches exchanded by both parties. Round two consisted of Arlovski kicking Werdoms legs. Once again, not very exciting. Third was just as boring, but the fight was clearly in wolfman's favor. Arlovski wins by decision.
Looking online at the UFC website, I found the results for the fights. It is supposed to be a live fight. grrr.... its spoiled. CroCop loses the final bout in a suprise victory by gonzonga. |

My Name is Earl - Norm Mcdonald as Burt Renolds son is brilliant. In this episode, earl works off his karma debt to Little Chubby played by Norm Mcdonald. This is definitely one of my favorite comedies right now and tonight does it justice. Little Chubby's testicles grow to the size of grapefruits and the color "rorange". He finds himself to be a kinder and gentler soul due to the lack of testosterone.
The Office - "I am now chopping off Phylis's' head with a chainsaw." How many people can say they have been in an office meeting where these words are muttered. Well, I guess I wouldn't want to, but The Office can make work. This was a rerun, but a good episode. This is the one were Michael accidentally sends out the email with Jan and himself in Jamaica.
The Worlds Ugliest Dog - This beauty is on Animal Planet. Great concept, but not the easiest on ye olde eyes. Animals only their owners could love. One dogs tongue stuck out of his mouth so far naturally, it had to be handicapable. Sam.... wow.... looked more like a mole than a dog. They said he was the Tiger Woods of this competition. Victoria had no tail and one eye that bulged out about 2 inches further than the other...... ewwww. Elwood, o Elwood, looks less attractive than a dog should. Archie the Ugly Dog wins
However unpleasant these dogs are to look at, it seems that each one has a great story. These are animals that many would have put to sleep and its good to see families take these little guys/gals in.
The Ultimate Fighter - UFC rules! Its like WWF, except real fighting and less make-up. One of the short timers is getting a colonic to lose weight....seriously.... cmon. really. Pretty good fight and Nick Diaz's brother smoked his opponent..... I am ready for UFC 70. |

American Idol - Thank goodness. My faith in the American people has been restored. Sanjaya is gone. This kid has definitely brought something new, and not necessarily good, to this TV game and smiles to thirteen year old girls across the nation. I am sure that this is not the last that we will see of him and I am sure that there will be plenty of commercial spots in his future. I hear that people were complaining about Simon's rolled eyes last night during a comment about the VT victims. It was good to see them show the real time video of what he was doing and Simon's clear explanation about him actually making rolled eyes at Paula A.
Thank God You're Here - This show has had three episodes and I have loved each one. Reminiscent of "Who's Line is it Anyways" except with celebrity guests. The only real comedian in this episode is Tom Green and he is his usual goofy self. Zulu of Star Trek fame was one of the guests. I have to give him credit for this (ahem) serious (ahem) actor and his stab at impromptu comedy. I would recommend this show to anyone. Its fun and the rest of the cast is fun to watch. One thing I noticed is that Dave Foley, the judge, has nothing bad to say about anyone.
Lost - I love this show, but I ended where I left of..... LOST. Its hard to remember everything that has happened thus far and even harder to predict what will happen next. Desmond saved Charlie's life again and there is a new visitor on this island. Of coarse, that was the last scene and we have no idea who it is so far. Any body else notice that Hugo isnt losing weight? Don't you think that being on a hot deserted island with limited resources might be a fast substitute for Jenny Craig? |

American Idol - FOX - As usual, Sanjia was less than adequate. Although I despise the fact that this kid is still on the show, it is not his fault that people continue voting about him. Last week Leno eluded to the fact that he was of Indian heritage and his 'in' with the call centers are helping him. I think there is something to that. Regardless, he is not going to win and if he plays it smart, he will make a nice career out of being who he is. Melinda Doolittle and Jordin Sparks stole the show and I really believe that the judges under estimated LaKisha Jones. I think LaKisha is the BOMB.
Workout - BRAVO - Not my favorite show, but it is amusing to watch the crazy drama and hottie lesbians. Thank goodness for shows like this because I could not stand to be inside the circle on this kind of drama. Only a few episodes this season and this is the second make out session between two girls(that I have seen). Jackie is such a tramp and this show is like watching a cross between late night skinimax and Degrassi Junior High. Any ways, really, there is not much to say except Jackie is deciding who she will make out with next and the others gossiping about it. In the middle of it all, there are some positive things occuring in this show. People getting off thier butts and going to work out. I should be on this show. I watched two episodes and I feel dummer fur it. |
